KUSHANO-SASANIANS. Peroz II, circa 300-325. Pashiz (Bronze, 15 mm, 2.11 g, 12 h), mint in Baktria, probably Balkh. 'PLWCI KWSHAN MLKA' ('Peroy Kushanshah' in Pahlavi) Draped and bearded bust of Peroz to right, wearing flat crown surmounted by two bull's horns and a lotus bud. Rev. 'BWLZAWNDY YZDTY' ('Exalted God', in Pahlawi) Exalted God emerges from fire altar, holding wreath in his right hand and long scepter in his left. ANS Kushan 2343. Some corrosion, otherwise, good very fine.
